Fall Programs

Bring the whole family and join the Wonders of Wildlife Educational Department as            we bring you a great educational experience. These programs are designed for students’ pre-kindergarten through high school.

Each program will have a 30 minute presentation, games, story time, activities, crafts, take home worksheets and lots of fun! You can come and go throughout the event!

Thursday September 13th 10am-noon   Incredible Invertebrates
• Learn all about slugs, snails, and many other slimy creatures
• Discover who has a backbone  and who doesn’t

Thursday October 11th 10am-noon Stickers, Stingers and Fangs
• Learn to identify venomous snakes and poisonous plants of Missouri
• Discover ways to avoid outdoor hazards 

Thursday November 8th 10 am-noon Presidential Animals
• Discover some strange presidential pets
• Learn who wanted the wild turkey as our National Symbol

Thursday December 13th 10 am-noon Camouflage
• Learn how camouflage is used a defense mechanism
• Discover who has it and who doesn’t
