 Family Programs

 10am - Noon

Bring the whole family and join the Education

 Department as we bring you a great educational experience.

These programs are designed for students Pre-K through 4th grade, but all students are welcome to attend.

 Each program will have a 30 minute presentation, games, activities, crafts, take home worksheets, and lots of fun!

You can come and go throughout the event!


Cost is $10.00 per student ages 3 and up. Chaperones are free.

Pre-registration and payment is required by the Friday before the program.


September 15th

Rooted: Did you know that trees and plants create the oxygen we breathe? Want to know how they do it? Let us break it down for you in this dynamic look at plants and why they are so important.

October 13th

De-Bugged: Insects make some people bug-out, but they actually have a very important job to do. Get up close and personal with some of our creepy-crawly friends as we learn why insects are a vital part of every ecosystem.

November 10th

Opportunity Knocks: There's no need to scavenge for information in this EdVenture. We will provide all the help you need in learning about different scavengers in the food chain.

December 8th

The Big Blue: Some are pretty, some are pretty creepy. Join us for an underwater EdVenture as we look at the amazing animals that call the ocean their home.






Afternoon Drop Off Programs

 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Games, activities, crafts and much much more! Drop off your student while you run errands, we promise to provide a fun and exciting

learning environment! Programs are designed for students 5th grade - High school


Cost is $10.00 per student + supply cost (if applicable)

Pre-registration and payment is required by the Friday before the program.




September 15th

Impressed: Science and history meet as we learn the proper techniques of collecting, pressing and mounting your own plants just like Lewis and Clark did.  Supply Cost: $10


October 13th

Archery Tag: Dodgeball, archery, and paintball collide in this one of a kind EdVenture. There's no beetter way to get some physical activity than with Archery Tag!


November 10th

Stars of the Ocean: Think you know a lot about ocean invertebrates? Come test your knowledge as we dive into this exciting dissection of one of the oceans most iconic animals. Supply Cost: $5


December 8th

Christmas Crafts: Make a beautiful hand crafted project to decorate for the season, or to give as a gift for a friend or loved one. Supply Cost: $10







Science Camps

 10:00am - 2:00pm

This is a drop off program designed for in-depth scientific study. Bring you student for a day of learning and fun!


Cost is $30.00 per student + supply cost (if applicable)

Pre-registration and payment is required two weeks before the program.


September 20th

Paddle Sports: Test your skills in the water as we venture off of the WOW campus for a day. Water safety, parts of a water craft, and the different types of strokes won't be all you learn as we visit Springfield Lake for the afternoon.


October 18th

Sting Ray Dissection: Wrap your minds around this exciting creature and all of its adaptations. During this in-depth science lab you will get a first-hand look into a sting ray. Supply Cost: $10


November 15th

Turtle Dissection: Can you tell the difference between a turtle and a tortoise? Do you know which one lives on land? Let us break it down for you in an in-depth dissection of a turtle. Supply Cost: $10


December 13th

CSI: Investifate the processes that professionals use when gathering evidence at real crime scenes. Come and use your new skills and powers of deduction to solve the case. Supply Cost: $10
