School Groups


Wonders of Wildlife would like to welcome public and private schools serving grades pre-k through high school to experience a new kind of field trip! Let us help you create an inspirational experience that lasts a lifetime. Field experiences are in high demand so request one today!

Important Information

  • Wonders of Wildlife requires a chaperone ratio of 1 adult per 8 students. Chaperones must be 21 years or older. Teachers please fill the chaperone tickets first.
  • Additional chaperones may be added to the reservation for the below prices.
  • All persons – students, chaperones and additional chaperones must be paid for in one transaction. Additional persons who do not pre-pay the school in advance will not receive the education discounts listed below.
  • Memberships may not be applied to student or required chaperone tickets. Additional adults not filling the required chaperone tickets may use their memberships. Guest passes will not be accepted.

  • Aquarium

    Includes Aquarium Only

    Dive in to a world-class aquarium adventure featuring 1.5 million gallons of freshwater and saltwater habitats teeming with 35,000 live fish, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds.

    Fully immersive wildlife galleries transport you to the wildest places on earth in an exciting and educational trip showcasing the history of the conservation movement.

Live Animal EdVentures


A live animal program is a great add-on to an Aquarium or Wildlife Gallery experience. Groups may also schedule either program independently of the Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium. These programs will take place in the Conservation Education Center located next door to the Aquarium at 600 West Sunshine St.

  • Live Animal EdVenture with Activities

    20 – 80 Students

    Meet some of the WOW Animal Ambassadors and introduce or expand your students’ knowledge with hands-on activity stations. This program is designed to meet the Missouri curriculum standards and you will choose your topic based on your students’ grade.

  • Live Animal EdVenture

    35 – 150 Students

    During this program, students will get up close and personal with our WOW animal ambassadors as we learn about what animals need to survive and how they thrive in certain habitats using unique adaptations.

  • Lab Programs

    Lab programs will provide a challenging arena in which middle and high school students are engaged in more advanced topics. During this program students will experience a live animal program, and then perform an in-depth dissection of one of the specimens listed below.

    • 2-3 live animals
    • Touchable artifacts
    • 5th grade through High school
    • 1.5 hour program- Frog, squid, owl pellet, or sea star
      • $10 per student plus specimen cost
    • 2 hour program- Rat, or Shark
      • $15 per student plus specimen cost

    Please note:

    • A non-refundable deposit in the amount of the specimen order will be collected prior to confirmation
